This report provides the results of an application of the Residents’ Questionnaire from Beacon’s Neighbourhood Sustainability Tools to Hobsonville Point in February 2020.
Results show that Hobsonville Point rates highly in terms of neighbourhood satisfaction, with 96% of respondents agreeing or strongly agreeing that Hobsonville Point is a great place to live. Sense of community ratings are higher than reported in the Quality of Life Survey for Auckland, 2018. Respondents used the open-ended questions to reinforce their enjoyment of living in Hobsonville Point; however, they also identified areas where they would like to see improvements, particularly around passenger transport, parking and perceived crime.
