Beacon’s neighbourhoods tools are tried and tested!
In development the tools were widely tested on New Zealand neighbourhoods - you can read the results here.
Recent example of how the tools have been used include:
- Master plan developers to assess how their developments are progressing over time and to trouble shoot any issues the community is raising - read about how Hobsonville Land Company is using the tool and how the results are informing future development
- Local boards to get community feedback on areas which are successful or which need work, in order to inform planning - read about how Rodney Local Board has used the tools in Kumeu and Huapai.
