Housing Matters 7: Touring more of Christchurch’s exemplar homes

Back to Resources

Picking up on last year’s tour of innovative new homes in Christchurch, this Housing Matters tour visited five more new builds.

These homes showcased new construction methods, high performance and resource efficiency.  All homes are part of the Superhome Movement, a cluster of building professionals aiming to deliver 1000 high performing homes through collaboration and sharing.

The tour visited each house, and included presentations from designers and project managers about the key features of each home.

For architects, designers, planners, builders, developers, and other building professionals, this provided inspiration and the opportunity to meet with other building professionals in an enjoyable and open learning environment.
